This is my first ever post.  I've been browsing this newsgroup for a

I've looked at alot of the art on here. It's alot.... bigger than I
thought. I mean, I've always created smaller things like:

Words and signs mostly is what i'm interested in getting/making I
think.

About ASCII in windows: I meant the fancy ASCII characters like you
see in the DOS QBASIC help file, in windows they appear as "U"s and
"a"s with "^"s and things over them, but in DOS, they look like, well,
they're supposed to.

About the FAQ: I will read it before I post again to anywhere but here
in this thread, because I haven't the time at present.

well, it's been a long while since i've posted to the ascii newsgroups.
here is my latest creation.  my next post will include *every* nba team.
i have now asciified every nba team except for the clippers and i'm almost
done with them.  this hornets logo was quite tricky, but i was able to play
with it some and able to make a decent picture out of a complex logo.
i may go try and add some shadow to the soles of his feet sometime later,
but i'm not sure if i'll get to that or if it'll look right.

once i'm finished with all these nba logos (yes, i'm even working on the
new minnesota t-wolves logo as i speak also), i don't know what i'll do
next.  maybe i'll move to another sport.  maybe i'll do something different
altogether.  who knows.

I've looked at alot of the art on here. It's alot.... bigger than I
thought. I mean, I've always created smaller things like:

Words and signs mostly is what i'm interested in getting/making I
think.

About ASCII in windows: I meant the fancy ASCII characters like you
see in the DOS QBASIC help file, in windows they appear as "U"s and
"a"s with "^"s and things over them, but in DOS, they look like, well,
they're supposed to.

About the FAQ: I will read it before I post again to anywhere but here
in this thread, because I haven't the time at present.

Hmmmmmmm. I took the two existing fish, turned 'em around and made 'em
smaller. Next I spent about two days trying to draw decent seaweed! Tried
everything, line, letters, shift characters, even tried Vielleuxing (tm)
the seaweed but that came out too dark. In the end I settled on colons and
full stops, that way you can actually see the fish. Had to get rid of some
bubbles though, there were too many layers."

I am having problems with this program.  I uudecoded it and down load it.  I
them used pkunzip which seemed to extract "THEDRAW.EXE" but when I went to
run it, it gave me "Runtime error 103 at 1AAD:00B8".  Can anyone shed any
light into the subject??

Glad you're alive!  Have you still not upgraded, yet??  This definitely
starts to sound like some Woody Allen-movie (neurotic macho Totton
Heffelfinger restricting his bright spouse to display her talents
cos the burning bush said this is the kosher thing to do).

Be keen on a foreign freight aircraft intruding into the vast skies
of ca.  It may drop a load of 'state-of-the-art' software, somewhere...

But no kidding, lliz, why? Downloading and installing free software

Looks more like ansi art to me. It's very nice, but still... You can't use
ANSI esc sequences and still call it ASCII art.
